I am currently in the middle of:
The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury
Neuromancer by William Gibson

I recently finished
Look Out for Space by William F. Nolan
The Demolished Man by Alfred Bester
The Little Ice Age by Brian Fagan (OK I didn't really *finish* this one ... I was reading it for a class and the paper came due and I just wrote the paper based upon the 75% of the book that I'd read and am not planning on picking it up again anytime soon)
Various short stories from collections of Philip K. Dick and Alfred Bester stories

    Just started "House of Leaves"

It's supposed to be scary as shit. We'll see.

Also been reading poetry lately, since I haven't had time to read a whole novel. "Howl" by Ginsburg and various Robert Service, mainly.

I just finished "Slammerkin" by Emma Donoughue; also just read "Oryx and Crake" by Margaret Atwood --- I have a few novels batting their eyes at me at the moment ... not sure who the next lucky book will be yet ...

i'm now reading a delightful book, it's gabriel garcia marquez's autobiography, "living to tell the tale", and it's delicious from the first page.
i had thought nabokov's, "speak memory" was the best auto-bio i had read until i began this one. marquez out does himself..

I got that book (the Marquez autobiography) for Christmas, I should give it a read once the semester mellows out...

Almost finished with Gabriel Garcia Marquez "100 Years of Solitude". What a great story. After that will begin "Freakonomics". Before "...Solitude", read "Tuxedo Park" by Jennet Conant, a fascinating biography of Alfred Loomis.
